In 2016 MAN Financial Services decided to launch a broad rental portfolio with individual service scopes.
Sittensen, January 18, 2016 - In 2016 MAN Financial Services decided to launch a broad rental portfolio with individual service scopes. "We expanded our portfolio to meet he needs and requirements of our customers," says Dr. Matthias Szupories, head of sales and marketing at EURO Leasing/MAN Financial Services. Premium MAN semi-tractor trailers are available for long-haul freight along with alternating chassis and semi-trailers from renowned manufacturers. The rental fleet was primarily expanded in the distribution sector. "In addition to 7.5 and 12 ton trucks, we have rounded our portfolio with heavier vehicles in the 15 and 18 ton class and lighter 3.5 ton vehicles. The rental portfolio includes all vehicles variants whether with tarpaulin/flat bed, box or refrigerated box bodies, meaning we are able to offer our customers a full range of options," adds Szupories.
EURO Leasing/MAN Financial Services will also start the year with new services lines. In addition to the existing BasicLion, ComfortLion and ExclusiveLion lines, the service package now has a modular structure. The individual service components are individually compiled to a full-service mix, entirely focused on customer needs. Options include the Business, Premium and First Class service lines. Every customer can pick their individual service scope. "In principal we offer all the modules, but can react very flexibly to customer circumstances," explains Szupories. The ComfortPlus maintenance and repair contract as well as the fees for general examinations and inspections. The 24-hour breakdown service, replacement vehicle provision, kilometre pooling and the vehicle swap within the contractual term are also included. In addition the customer can also take out coverage for wear and tyre wear. Toll and claims management, collision damage insurance and tyre care and telematics round off the full-service offer. Pay-per-use and Early-out create even more flexibility during the leasing period.
The rental products are now offered in all MAN Truck & Bus Centers throughout Germany. "Thanks to the new positioning, we have been able to significantly increase our activities and synergy effects. We can now provide more flexible and quicker advisory services to freight forwarders, transporters and logistics service providers. More than simple truck rentals are offered by also optimization of the entire value chain and cost structures to the advantage of our customers," emphasizes EURO Leasing CEO Marco Reichwein. The goal of the measures is to bring financing, leasing, insurance and rentals under a single roof to meet demand. In addition EURO Leasing/ MAN Financial Services are also expanding their sales structures and strengthening their Area Sales Manager Team. Torsten Macke-Igelmann has been responsible for the Oldenburg and Osnabrück sales offices since the start of the year. Ralf Sagert takes care of the sales office in Berlin as new Area Sales Manager for Rental.
